European bourses and Dow closed up on Friday. Dow closed +54 at 26071.
Trend of Dow is up. European bourses opened mixed.
Asian bourses closed mostly up. Nikkei +8, ShanghaiC +13, Hangseng +139.
STI closed +14 at 3565. Volume was 1.8b shares. Gainers were 228 to 160
losers.
Trend of STI is up but flattening.
Top volumes were Rowsley +0.2, NicoSteel unchanged, AlliedTech unchanged,
Cosco unchanged, Noble +6.5, Ausgroup unchanged, SemcorpMarine +9, JEP
+0.2, Infinio unchanged, Spackman +0.4.
STI opened flat but turned negative for the first half of the morning. It
climbed back to positive in the last hour before closing for lunch. After
lunch it continued to move up and closed at day high at +14.
Blue chips closed mixed. The general market was firmer.
