European bourses closed mixed last night. Dow closed -4 at 26211. Trend
of Dow is up. Dow's future at this moment is +45. European bourses opened
flat and mixed.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei -183, ShanghaiC +14, Hangseng +28. STI
closed +16 at 3608. Volume was 2.2b shares. Gainers were 225 to 198
losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were Midas +0.8, Jiutian +0.1, QTVascular +0.1, Genting +6,
Ausgroup + 0.2, SembcorpMarine -5, Rowsley unchanged, AnchorResources +
0.4, LeyChoon +0.1, Cosco -0.5.
STI opened marginally down and stayed that way till late morning. It
started to move to positive just before lunch break. After lunch it
continued to climb to close at near day high at +16. Blue chips were
mostly higher. The general market was also slightly firmer.
