European bourses closed mixed last night. Dow closed -167 at 24798. The
recovering trend of Dow is starting to slip down. Dow's future at this
moment is -148. European bourses opened down.
Asian bourses closed mostly down. Nikkei -259, ShanghaiC +70, Hangseng
-466. STI closed -28 at 3489. Volume was 1.8b shares. Gainers were 114
to 299 losers.
Trend of STI is still looking up.
Top volumes were Magnus unchanged, JEP +0.3, Jiutian unchanged, ThaiBev
-0.5, SembcorpMarine -30, Genting -1, AlliedTech unchanged, Rowsley
unchanged, GoldenAgri unchanged, YZJ -6.
STI opened slightly down but fell further to close negative for lunch. It
made a slight recovery after lunch but unable to turn positive and closed
-28.
Blue chips were mostly down and the general market was weak with gainers to
losers ration at 3 to 1.
