European bourses closed mixed and flat last night. Dow closed -249 at
24758. Trend of Dow is slipping down. Dow's future at this moment is +47.
European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei +33, ShanghaiC flat, Hangseng +106. STI
closed -22 at 3517. Volume was 2b shares. Gainers were 176 to 200 losers.
Trend of STI is still trying to break up.
Top volumes were MarcoPoloMarine +0.1, Rowsley +0.3, Cosco +0.5, Jiutian
+0.3, Genting unchanged, Ausgp +0.1, ThaiBev +1, Krisenergy unchanged,
Spackman +0.2, HLH -0.2.
STI opened down and stayed down the whole session. There was an attempt to
move up in late afternoon but fizzled off before turning positive. It
drifted back down to close near day low in the last hour of trading at -22.
Blue chips closed mostly down. The general market was also down.
