European bourses and Dow were up last night.  Dow closed +294 at 24483.

Trend of Dow is starting to turn up.  Dow's future at this moment is +18.

European bourses opened up.

Asian bourses closed mixed.  Nikkei +118, ShanghaiC -21, Hangseng -23. STI

closed +34 at 3502.  Volume was 1.4b shares.  Gainers were 253 to 137

losers.

Trend of STI is up.

Top volumes were CSEGlobal +2.5, Noble +4.8, MarcoPoloMarine +0.2,

LippoMallsTr -3, Rowsley -0.2, SingTel +2, Genting +2, KrisEnergy +0.1,

ComfortDelgro +8, Jiutian +0.1.

STI opened up and stayed up the whole session. It was up 22 point when

closed for lunch. After lunch it continued to climb and close just off the

day high at +34.

Blue chips were mostly higher. The general market was also firmer despite

the threat of an imminent attack on Syria by the American and western

powers.

European bourses are mixed at this moment while Dow's future is slightly

up.
